8 FREE Spring Photoshoot Ideas You NEED To Try!

Hey girl! Are you excited about the warm weather! I am sooo ready to say goodbye to winter and hello to Spring! Now that it’s warm, I can’t wait to get out more and take pics outside and around my city! Exploring and finding unique places to shoot is 100%  one of my favourite things to do in Spring.  So I figured, I would give you guys some inspo for photoshoot locations for spring to up that Insta game and get some fresh new pics! You definitely are going to want to try these photoshoot ideas, so let’s get started!

1. Tennis Courts

My go-to location whenever I’m stuck for ideas is a tennis court, it never fails! There are so many options for poses and creative ideas and lots to play around with! You can experiment with the lines of the court, nearby shady spots, the net as a prop, you name it! Plus, it doesn’t cost you anything! The pics below are some shots I took of my friend at a tennis court!

2. Greenhouses

What shouts spring more than a greenhouse? You can pose down the aisles, do a portrait shot with flowers in the background, use some flowers as props or use plants for a framing foreground for your photo! These are some more photos I took!

3. Refreshed Local Walls or Murals

Can you really go wrong with a mural? My city is always changing up the walls downtown and painting beautiful murals! Just take a walk downtown and around your city to spot some insta-worthy walls or murals!

4. Flower Fields (of course!)

Okay, this one is super basic for Spring, but I just had to include it because flower fields are insanely gorgeous and make awesome photos! If you have a flower field or any pretty field near you, definitely take advantage!

5. Picnic Time!

What’s more fun than an aesthetic picnic in the park? Grab a blanket, some snacks, any props you can think of (maybe even some bubbles, cause why not?) and head on over to a park for a picnic photo sesh!

6. Bring Flowers Along, Anywhere!

Can you go wrong with flowers in Spring? I say no way! If you can find some wildflowers you are able to pick then that’s awesome, if not, treat yourself to some flowers and take some pics! (Plus you can display the flowers in your room after of course!)

7. Parking Garage

I just recently found a parking garage downtown that had an amazing skyline rooftop view and I already can’t wait to go back to take more pics! If you can find any parking garage’s downtown they almost always have a top floor that you can access to go take pics on! These are some pics I took there!

8. Go For A Ride or A Skate!

Bikes and skateboards make the perfect props! Take your bike for a stroll and snap some pics or go for a ride on your longboard if you have one! Both make cute pics to welcome Spring and Summer!

8. Look for Beauty Around You!

Sometimes, the best photos are at places you didn’t plan on or expect! I had planned with a friend to go out and take pictures at the parking garage and on our way home we found the cutest exposed white brick wall downtown while driving home! It was a little gem I never knew existed! So always keep your eyes open for potential photo gems around your city or town!
