Wow… you guys are the best! After 42 responses, I can’t thank those who participated enough! All the questions I recieved are amazing! I am so happy to get to answer your questions so you guys can get to know me a little better!
For obvious reasons, I couldn’t answer all 42 questions in this blog post because I didn’t want this post to drag on too long and become boring. If you would like to see a Part II, I would love to do that! Just let me know in the comments 😀
Again, thank you to anyone who submitted questions, it means the world to me!
I got soo many questions about blogging, blogging advice, how I started my blog etc. I was thinking about maybe doing a blogging series where I share my tips, advice, and answer any questions you guys may have. What do you think? I’ve been thinking of doing a post or two like this for a while but I wasn’t sure if anyone was interested… So if you would like to see some posts about blogging, vote below![powr-poll id=36854d0d_1503203606149]
#1 – What is your favorite travel memory?
I think my favourite travel memory would have to be when it was my relatives anniversary (they lived in Denmark). I didn’t speak of word of Danish (just the simple hello, no, yes etc.) and in the Danish culture, they sing a lot of songs so everyone at the anniversary party is singing songs (In Danish, of course) and before I know it everone is laughing and forming a cha-cha line. I had no idea what was going on so I just laughed and smiled and followed what everyone else did. This memory isn’t my favourite because it’s extravagant and at some exclusive island or something, but it was a moment where I could truly let go and have a great time 😀
#2 – Would you ever add anyone else to your blog (to help you post), and if so, who and why?
For me personally, I’m sort of a perfectionist… I spend a lot of time on my blog design and graphic designs becuase I want them to be the best that they can be. I think if I had someone else writing a lot of my posts I would probably get a little frustrated because I’m just too hands on and I wouldn’t want to give up my control over my blog. That being said, I would love to have another blogger do a guest post for me, but not as a regular thing 🙂
#3 – Do you have any really embarrassing childhood stories? (If so, tell us all about it!)
To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever had a crazy embarrasing story, or anything I can remember on the spot…
#4 – What is your favorite blog post and why?
If I had to pick one it would probably be the posts in my Babysitting 101 series. Those posts went viral on Pinterest and was what really got my blog out there, and for that I am super grateful. Besides the babysitting posts, I think my next blog post (a video!) is going to be my all-time new favourite blog post!
#5 – What are some tips to having a clear face?
My go-to advice for anyone, is simply washing your face. I wash my face in the morning and night with a cloth and it makes the world of a difference for me. I really start to notice a change when I skip my daily routine. Also, drinking lots of water and avoiding too much sugar is another lifesaver for me.
#6 – What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I would have to say just being able to share my thoughts and tips with other teens is my favourite thing about blogging. My goal is to hopefully inspire and help teens like myself. I also love designing my blog design and making Pinterest graphics every week.
#7 – What was your braces experience?
Sadly, I still have my braces on… It’s been at least two years now and I just have a couple more months to go and I seriously can’t wait any longer. That aside thought, I am really grateful I was able to have braces. My teeth were really bad before and I know in the long run it will definitely be worth it. If you guys want a full braces experience posts once I get them off, let me know 😄
#8 – What’s your favorite place to visit?
To be honest, I’m not exactly sure… I just can’t pick one. But my top three would be Denmark, Hawaii, and Arizona 😀
#9 – Do you have a favorite quote?
I have a lot of favourite quotes, but right now I think it’s this one :
#10 – Do you have any fashion tips for me?
I would have to say, if you don’t like it, don’t wear it. I think a lot of the time people wear what’s trendy becuase they want to be popular. If you love it, wear it!
#11 – Have you ever tried to make a blog before, and it failed?
Actually, this is the first blog I’ve ever made! I did start the blog using Wix and then switched over to WordPress but it was still the same name with all the same posts. (taiyamaddison.com was originially taiyamaddison.wixsite.com) and I feel that I’ve come a really long way with this blog 😀
#12 – What are your go to study tips for high school?
It’s actually crazy how whoever asked my this just read my mind.. I was just planning and brainstorming for a study tips post, so stay tuned for a list full of studying tips and tricks!
#13 – Do you have a place you like to be while doing blog stuff?
You know… I’ve never really thought about this before. I usually am working on blog stuff either in my room, on the deck in my backyard, or at a cafe the odd time.
#14 – What are some of your favorite books [or series]?
Lately, I’ve been loving all of Sarah Dessen’s books especially “What Happened To Goodbye.” Although, one of my favourite books of all time would have to be “The Summer In Pink and Green” by Lisa Greenwald.
#15 – What is something you work hard for?
Aside from my blog, I definitely work very hard in school. Right from the beginning I’ve always cared about my schoolwork and setting high standars for myself. Sometimes it can be difficult to stay on top of things and put your best work in all the time, but I don’t think I would ever want to change the way I do things 😀
Well, there you have it! 15 answered questions from my Q&A! If you want to see a part II where I answer even more of your questions, let me know in the comments! I hope you enjoyed this post and got to know me a little better 🙂
Till next time,
