Hey girl! I am sooo sorry for the inconsistent posting the last few weeks. I was in the process of packing and moving and it was a crazy time for me. Now that I start school this week I will be back into a routine so you can look forward to more consistent posts every weekend. In today’s post, I show you my perfect classic and casual back to school OOTD ☺️
I have so many exciting back to school posts coming up including study tips, high school advice and all that good stuff so get excited!
This weeks post is a little on the short side thanks to packing and everything else going on in my life, but I figured it could still be helpful to those of you still wracking your brain for back to school outfits.
(Click above for links) Okay, I’ll let you in on a little secret, this t-shirt isn’t mine, it’s my best friends, but I do plan on buying the exact same one (after I completely fell in love with it )
I love the simplicity of this t-shirt with the small embroidery on the corner. However, it’s the colour of this tee that made me fall in love with it, it’s the perfect warm toned colour to transition from summer to fall. (psst.. also giving it a tie in the front or side, depending on the length of the shirt, is a super easy but cute touch to an outfit)
And seriously, how cute are these? I have seen the brand, Brunette The Label, in boutique’s everywhere and I am obsessed with the minimalist vibe of their clothing with their trademark bold letter font (not sponsored or anything, I wish).
I just had to pair this perfect tee with my favourite and comfiest pair of jeans. These jeans from Garage go with just about every top in my closet and are super comfy (if I hadn’t mentioned that already 😉). The rips have distressed quite a bit since I bought them but I actually think I like the more ripped and distressed look.
Can we just take a minute to talk about my necklace? One of my best friends got it for me and I’m in love. I have worn it seriously everyday since she got it for me, no joke.
And yes, what other shoes could you expect me to wear other than my trusty converse. And I know what you are thinking, and yes, I do own other pairs of shoes but these just go with everything! I love the classic look and they are perfect for back to school! (I promise I will have a different pair in an OOTD sooner or later).
So what did you think of my back to school OOTD? I can’t wait to hear your feedback! This post was a collaboration with Rebecca from Joy Unspeakable (her collab hastage is#LifeMadeSimple) We are swapping mentions so defnitely check her out! She posts tags, back to school posts, monthly wrap ups, planner posts, and more! Also, make sure to comment and tell me what your perfect back to school OOTD would be!
